Codex QuickStart

Who this is for

Use this guide if you want Codex to directly run upload/share/check flows with VSH.

Before you start

Section titled “Before you start”
  • Codex is available in your environment
  • You know your Codex skills parent directory
  • You have VSH login state or VSH_API_URL + VSH_API_KEY
  • You know the target project for this work

Install

Section titled “Install”
Terminal window
pnpm exec vsh skill install --dir ~/.codex/skills

If your Codex setup is custom, install to the matching skills parent directory with --dir.

Section titled “Recommended first prompt”

“Use VSH to check whether my credentials and project are ready. If not, tell me exactly what is missing.”
